We usually don't ask for a deposit, but if special materials are ordered or complex work is to be undertaken we may ask for a covering payment up front.
All items produced remain the property of SmartRRRs Seats until paid for in full.
30 day trade accounts can be arranged , ask for details.
Payment on collection from our workshop or upon pre arranged delivery by a member of our staff.
In the case of mail order items, payment must be cleared before item is despatched, unless otherwise agreed, see below.
Special arrangments for part completed jobs or tight deadlines only,
Sometimes items may be dispatched without pre-payment to help the customer meet build deadlines, show dates or to check the item for fit etc, but this would be by special prior arrangment only . This is only done on the understanding that once inspected and approved (see below) the item is paid for within 7days of delivery, (which is always a signed for service) if payment is not made within the 7 days we will remind you by phone or email. If payment is not made within 14 days of delivery a polite reminder will be sent in writing by recorded post asking for payment in full within 7 days. In all cases any invoice not paid in full within 6 weeks of due date will be forwarded to our debt collecting service, all extra collection fees will be added to the outstanding invoice. At this point interest will be added to the original invoice at 2% per week compound. Late payment on trade accounts will also forfit any trade discounts agreed.
Due date is 7 days after delivery or 30 days in the case of trade accounts.
Any items sent on approval :- If you have any reason to complain about the service given or items receieved then contact us within the first 7 days and we will do all we can to sort out any issues. After that period it will be assumed the service or item is acceptable. and payment should be made within due dates.
Payment can be by cash, credit/debit card, paypal. Or by cheque ( cheques by pre arrangment only).
Any items not collected from the workshop 6 months after date of completion (the customer will be notified on completion by phone, email or post) the item will be sold to cover our costs.
The above does not affect your rights .
Workmanship and materials used are covered by a 12 month guarantee, damage from missuse or abuse will not be covered. Failure to care for the item (eg, Leather goods must be cleaned and protected as advised on collection.) or they will not be covered by the guarantee.
We reserve the right to change the above at anytime to suit our business needs.
